I'm shooting for a couple hundred under invoice.

If I get invoice, what other charges should I accept and refuse?
I know it's a repeat question, but I just need to get it one more time and do it!

What kind of money should I need today if I order?

Down payment????? ect...

Thanks all, se ya on the other side,
Ring

I'll take your right flank . . .

invoice minus whatever you can squeeze plus fuel in tank $50, ADFA (advertising chg) $250 , delivery $795, tax, lic. No doc fees, prep, dealer installed options (undercoat, security engraving, ext warranty), dlr markup, etc. If you can try leaving no more than $500 deposit and preferably on a credit card so if the truck comes in wrong or damaged you can drop it and get all your money back through the cc company.

Thanks

I was able to get in and out of 2 dealerships in less than
20 minuets. I had stopped at each one to make contact earlier in the week, just to grab a business card. That way I could prevent from being swarmed when I went in to deal.

The salesman at the first dealership was very 'sticky' about letting me out. I was up front about shopping around. He said he could give me a price... but not necesserly his best price.
He wanted to be able to beat someone else's price.
I told him I would get another dealers offer and give him the chance.

The second dealer was a lot less 'sticky'. I gave him a copy of the online build sheet. He said he would put a price together and have it for me tomorrow morning. His dealership offers, in writing, a free loaner car for any repair in their shop if the repair takes over 4 hours or overnight for the life of vehicle, not just while under waranty!
Sounds great...but how much is it really worth?
He let me out with a hand shake and a smile.

Tomorrow will tell!

Thanks again,
Sid

You need to do an end-around the floor salesmen. Contact the dealerships by phone or e-mail and ask for their fleet sales mgr and some even have internet sales managers now. When you get there walk right into their office and lay your offer on the table. Avoid the schmoozers standing around on the lot or you'll end up in the old good cop-bad cop routine with them and their retail sales mgr.
