56 turret
hi guy's, would anyone know of any companies either currently or in the future that are stamping new 56 turrets or new bonnets?, with all the new panels available for similar year chevs , someone must be thinking of it are'nt they?

I know you guys from down under have a little different terminology on things than here in the states. I'm pretty sure a bonnet is a hood, but you got me on the turret. I'm think tanks have turrets, but 56 Fords? What the heck is a turret?

If turret means roof the only one that has any to my knowledge is Gibbons it is made out of fiberglass and gives the appearance of a 2 inch chop.
The bonnet (hood) are only reproduced in fiberglass but you can buy the whole cab in fiberglass in fact the whole truck except for bed and tailgate.
Well thats what I know perhaps somebody is making the parts but arn't doing a good job of advertising.

hi guys, not sure about terminoligy u use that high up the globe but here goes- bonnet = hood
turret = roof
gaurd = fender
cab/chassis = pickup
i'm sure there are other strange terms i will have to learn (teach u )but for now class is out.
does'nt anyone know of somebody about to produce these bits in tin? i am not into tupperware cars. cya..gary
