fuel problem with 99 xls
OK, There seems to be alot of people here with fuel/pump problems.....I have replaced PCM, fuel pump, fuel filter, relays and tested inertia switch. I can turn the key on and my fuel pump only comes on for half second or so, not 3-5 seconds......it will turn over but not start, I can spray a little starting fluid and it will run until the starting fluid is used up...what am I missing? Could use some help with the phantom problem

check the wiring connections around the pump may be a loose ground or voltage drop in power wire . there might be just enough voltage to kick the pump on but not enough to run it once pressure builds
