need help with a rust problem Bought my ranger 1 month ago noticed rust around the gas filler neck. My drive shaft also has a coating of rust should i worry about this or is it a regular problem. Ran a carfax it came up clear.What can i do to get rid of this problem. only has 31000 miles on it

Welcome to FTE valo.
First, take the truck to your bodyshop & get the exterior fixed. As soon as that's done, have the truck oil sprayed.
Or, let it go & watch your investment rust away.

Proper oil spray oil has a rust inhibiter in it. If you can find a local outfit that will show you the barrels of product, it will be "stenciled" on the top "contains rust inhibiter".
Used engine oil has alot of combustion by-products in it making it a bad choice.
There are 2 main retail rust proofing outfits (oil spray) here in Ontario. Rust Check and Krown. This should be done at least every other year or twice a year in high salt conditions.
