A buddy of mine removed his bed liner and found mold, dirt and signs of rust, he's not putting it back in. Instead he will put some kind of matt.what do you think of bed liners good or bad?
I agree, inserts still let water and dirt get under them, then it just sits there and eats away at ur truck, the only way to go is with a spray-in, i have one and i love it, only have one small chip in it and i am very rough with it, they are a little more expensive, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for
I've had both in different trucks over the years. I would love to get rid of the plastic piece of junk in mine now for a spray on, they are much better. But the wife just doesn't understand...
I actually owned a Tacoma...for 7 months...it had a plastic liner that didn't fit, it would always vibrate going down the road. The dealership tried to put in 3 different ones before they bought the bedliner off of me. The next week I had a spray on put in. I was amazed that in the 2 months that I had it, most of the paint was scratched off it and you could see where it was down to the bar metal already. The guy who took it out said that was normal and that I should either paint it or go buy a spray on, I already had the appointment for the spray on. All this in just 2 months of having a brand new truck and I hadn't hauled anything in it yet.
