I recently purchased a 1997 F-250 HD super cab. It came with two keys, the square key that opens the door and works the ignition and a round key. There is not lock on the glove box. The previous owner didn't tell me what it does and I can't figure it out and it's bugging me.
I've got a 97 and don't even have a round key. My glove box doesn't lock either, I don't think. Never really noticed. Maybe he screwed up and gave you a key to somebody else's vehicle!
