A/C Removal

I am currently stripping down a 1977 XLT Ranger F150 4x2 w/ a 460 and C6. What is the most proper and safest way to dismantle and remove the air conditioning components. I want to preserve the coolent if possable since it is the old r12.

You will need a vampire machine to remove the R 12. Do you plan to reuse the parts?

You need a recovery machine gauges and a vaccumed tank, besides a certificate to do this.Live in NJ,let me know, I've got all of the above including more 12 and the new drop ins.
