Caramel in my engine??
What the heck is this stuff under my oil fill cap?? I've never seen this before on any vehicle I've seen. Is this normal??

Condensation. It's winter time and short tripping doesn't warm the engine up enough. water mixed with oil looks like that.
Every body that lives where it is cold has an oil cap that looks just like that.
This is a good argument for those that say their synthetic oil doesn't need changed for 9000 miles.
