Crane cam question

I need to go buy the a Dyno program (either Dyno Sim or Dyno 2000 whichever I can get at Walmart) but I was looking at 2 Crane grinds at the moment and they are the CRN-343901 and the 343941. Was just wondering if the second one with a lift of .533 Intake and .563 exhaust would be getting a little 2 up there for stock rocker-shafts and stands (adj. rocker factory type). I wouldn't think so and I wouldn't probably ever take the engine over 5200-5500. My valvetrain is all new.
I am looking into the 2 I mentioned along with the Energizer CRN-134052 grind. Has anyone here ran any of Lunati's, Isky, Engle, or Erson's grinds and thought they had good cams for the FE?
I can't find any info on Erson and Isky (have been to Isky's website but nothing listed for FE). I still am thinking about a custom grind too but I guess we will see.

Gimme your engine specs and I will tell you what Dynosim says. The 941 will be about the max I would run with stock stuff. I broke 2 shafts with my 801 and stock shafts and stands with adj rockers.

I ran the 343941 Crane for nearly 70k miles on a 390 engine with otherwise stock valve train, no problems, and it's still sitting on a stand if I ever have need to use it. Now have new 343941 with DSC adjustable valve train on my 410, no worries. Dennis at DSC didn't think there was anything to bother about either, JFWIW. I do subscribe to the notion that it's reaching the upper limits however.

That makes me feel better about the statement I made. Its always nice to hear from someone that has actually run one.

Seems like Crane says it has a "good" idle, and I would agree with that. It was pretty smooth at about 650 rpm but had enough of a lump to let you know it wasn't "quite" a grocery-getter.

Gtex...LOL!!! it seems to me..That the price is weel worth to get rud of any head ache's?? I ran MSD..on another truck Years ago..with not a Problem..But..I had friends...

That called

me to pick them up in there trash??But... I like the 60,000 volts..It might be multy spark..But if it runs on a mild cammed 390 with one wire hook up!!! COOL!!!

I will need the compression ratio, and the head you want to run. I don't have any flow files on the 406 heads.

I can leave a HEMI ram wondering what the heck just happened and so can you. That was the RPM head. I think about 375HP would be closer to the real number. It says mine makes about 475HP and I know I'm not making that much.

That was 434 foot pounds and exactly 400HP. You got the two mixed up.
