1. More than likely on the computer.
2. The flywheel should bolt up. I can't imagine Ford casting different cranks between the slipomatic and stick.

You may need to post this question in the 351w forum. I know for a long time the 351w and 302 used a different flexplate(flywheel for automatic trans).
The difference being the 351w used a 50oz and the 302 used a 28oz.
I'm not sure if they changed it or if it is still the same. You will have to change the computer. If the 302 is out of a car it won't have alot of torque at the low end and I doubt you will be happy with it. But if it's just to have something to drive until you get the other fixed you could probably deal with it for a while. Either way on the flexplate I have a extra one for a 302 if you want to drive to my brothers in indy to pick it up you can have it.
Ill have to see what happens this weekend.Im hopefully going to be able to get it all done.Just be another sleepless weekend. That aint nothin new..The only thing that worrys me is that computer.I dont want to buy a new one if Im only going to run this motor until I finish the other one..But than I might not have to..I guess I could find out if the guy still has the computer..And the motor came out of a 91 F-150,so it shouldnt be that bad..
Iknow exactly where you are at..I used to runn those streets...Not anymore since I moved to rensselaer..It has been a while since Ive been there...I used to drag race on Cline..Until I got 500.00 in fines....Thats cool tho..
