2000 Expedition Electrical ?
1. Unplugging the running running board connectors on both sides of the vehicle under the passenger doors. No luck.
2. Checking the interior lamp relay (#1). If I remove this, the fuse does not blow when the doors are opened. Checked windows and overheard console and both work. Picked up a new relay, same problem.
3. Noticed a running board relay in the diagram that I cannot locate. But I wouldn't think it would matter if I unplugged the running boards.
4. Seems like the rear wiper is acting up. I'll put the relay back in and replace the fuse and try everthing on the circuit before I open the door and everything works except the rear wiper. Sounds like the relays are clicking but no motor movement.
I realize that Ford engineers didn't do their best work designing the multi function switch and wiper motors, but why would either of these matter when I open the doors.
Any ideas?
