Temp Guage

Question, where should the temp guage normally read? Mine is always in the middle range of the scale. I had an '03 Superduty with a V-10 which read about a 1/4 scale all of the time. Does the diesel engine just run hotter than the V-10?

Diesels do generate more heat. I don't know about the gauge. Do we have some techs to answer that?

My tranny and water both run dead center in the guages.
