A Newbie Hello
Thought I would chime in and say, glad I found this page. Good to be in the company of fellow gearheads.
Been at PF every year since 1988 as spectator. Got married at 91 nats. Cool she came with a 55 effie. still got them both and still working on both. Long line of Henrys finest in the past I should have kept them all!
Her toy:55 F-100. 351w, Cordoba IFS posi 9 inch, hydraulic tilt front. Just need to wire and paint NEED RUNNING BOARDS!(hint) It will be a NICE driver unlike my street beaters.

The Cougar is a work in progress as well. not Track worthy yet. and a lot of fab'in to go.
Found a pair of 1966 Keystone rims and built a car around them. Kinda funny, it now has an old Harwood straight tube with 55 F-100 springs and spindles. Sits sky high Gasser style with 12.5 X 31 slicks stickin out the quarters. Savin' for the disc brakes. Been building this car with lunch money and early 70's era swap meet parts but it will still be safe. Kinda fun doing this one a little at a time. Sould be a rela heart attack when done.
And since I have this thing for tilt front ends.......

I will post pics as soon as I can, Don't have recent ones and it is cramped in the shop. Cougar is tarped on the trailer under near a foot of snow and ice,BRRRRRR

Welcome Dave, i do like your Daves Garage philosphy, i own a 54 F100 it currently has a worked up 440 mopar in it, i always said, ford built it and i fixed it, but i am so sure that has any truth to it now that i am all grown up. your friend 54 fever.
