alternator headache
hey ya'll.. is anyone out there that can tell me on a rear terminal external reg, 84 f150 3 wire alt. how to hook up? I know which wire goes to batt. but the other two are exactly the same type of push on connections same color black. evidently the previous owner replaced one. Now i know one goes to the field and one goes to ground. If i hook them up backwards will i hurt the alt?
