Interior lighting??
Regarding 1991 - 1994 Explorers:
Can anyone tell me if the window controls on the drivers door (or any door) are supposed to light up when the lights come on at night?
Mine certainly don't & it's tough to see what's going on with out turning on the dome light.

That was one of the things that I thought was missing in the first gen Explorers. Unfortunately, the newer ones can't be easily retrofitted to the older models. I believe the doors are the same so you may be able to replace the entire interior panel including switches. One other small thing Ford fixed was putting pockets on the back of the front seats.
