I have a HPP3 in my car.. claims a 20 hp gain.. but personaly i don't think it had gains that big.. if any.
Thanx for replys
Sorry, don't know if you've seen any of my notices about this but I'm right in the middle of moving both my home and the business to new locations so my time is short. Please be patient with replies, I have to sleep sometime!
thanx for the reply.. didn't think anyone new about a chic for the 7.5L guess im going with the superchip.. the diablo didn't have a 7.5 listed for some reason?? o well
We can program any Ford. If you click on the Frequently Asked Questions link on that page it has a note about that. Its all dependant on the PCM code (Ford has thousands of them). The 1, 2 and 3 stage chips work for it. Look on the computer box and tell me the 4 digit code (it will be 3 letters followed by 1 number) and I'll see if its in the database.
o ok.. but i got one problem.. im startin to think my truck already has a chip?? is there a way i can tell?? i baught the truck used a month ago.. and the timing is so advanced it knocks and pings under load.. then when i back off the timing it hesitates and stumbles..? so could this mean its bin programmed already?? y waste the $400 on a programmer when it already has one? thanx for your replys
