about two mounths ago i had a similar problem the truck would run about 15 minutes then quit, when i changed the ignition module its been fine up until now. recently i changed the coil and ignition switch but still same problem no spark.
Hey guys i figured it out first i had the module i bought two months ago tested and they said it was no good and gave me a new one . but get this still no spark so i got my buddys old 77 chilton book and started testing wires and low and behold my rotor isnt turning but the cam is. there is wear on the dist. gear so im gona change the gear and see what happens
I bought a complete dizzy as you say, it was $52 here. It didnt do the trick so i tore the front of the engine off all kinds of slack in the timming chain, but the marks are still lined up. either way im gona need a new timing chain so il put the new one in leave the cover off and see if the dist. turns hope its not the cam.
