Some people have problems with aftermarket modules(that's the rumor anyway). I wonder if a Ford module from the junkyard would work?

I bought a complete dizzy as you say, it was $52 here. It didnt do the trick so i tore the front of the engine off all kinds of slack in the timming chain, but the marks are still lined up. either way im gona need a new timing chain so il put the new one in leave the cover off and see if the dist. turns hope its not the cam.
