gt-40 heads

Does anyone know what vehicles the gt-40 heads came on stock? Ive herd they come on some V8 explorers...What else...I am looking for a good starting point for sum heads for my 351W to go into my mustang...Also what is the difference between the stock gt-40 heads and the aftermarket ones?

The cobra mustangs and I think the lightening trucks got them as well.

rtm have ne idea wut year of thos cobras?...my bro said like from 95- up...but he likes to jsut say sumthin so it makes him sound like hes smart...lol

I can not recall the year that they first started to putting the GT-40 heads on the cobras or the lightening truck.

They also came on 97 and earlier mountaineer and explorer 5.0 motors, after 97 they used the gt-40p.



Also what is the difference between the stock gt-40 heads and the aftermarket ones?



They don't flow as well and the "aftermarket" versions are aluminum. later

HOO NOSE THE CHAMBER SIZE ON THE STOCK 1969 302 HEADS???? I HATE THE 8:1 C/R SO I WANT A DOME PISTON.
