I'm coming out of an '01 Lariat and have just (2/7) ordered an new Lariat at $400 over invoice.
My VOC lists "Priority 99", "Order Type 1", "Price Level 435". The VOC was submitted late yesterday.
I'd appreciate any help w/translation!
I hope that's the copy of a "rough draft," because a 99 priority will never get built. Highest priority is 10, lowest is 99. In fact, we always use 99 when "practicing," just to make sure that, if it does get ordered, it doesn't get built. Order type 1 is a sold retail order (type 2 is for stock), and price level 435 is the latest pricing that Ford's currently using. But you want to get that priority to AT LEAST a 20, assuming you want the truck this year.
Thanks-apparently it was a "rough draft". The actual order went in today as a 10.
In another post, you mention upcoming FTE programs. As I indicated, I paid $400. over invoice...could I have done better?

Oh, boy..........
Do you REALLY want me to answer that question? I mean, if I were to say yes, you could have done better, would it just ruin your day? Or are you happy enough with the deal (and the dealer) that it wouldn't make a difference?
I just HATE answering that question: it's always a "lose-lose" in my book.
