Bad Vibration - HELP!
I have a 2004 F350 CC Lariat 6.0 PSD 4x4 with a long bed. I have put additional 2" blocks to slightly lift the body. Everything else is stock, including wheels. My problem is that at 40 mph and 70 mph it vibrates terribly almost feeling like my tires are like eggs, kind of a hopping vibration. I have been told twice now by the Ford dealer that it is the tires, and after 3 sets of tires, (BFG, Remington, and Goodyear) it still vibrates/hops. I am running 305's on stock wheels. What could it be?????

Check driveshaft carrier bracket. Theres a post on here somewhere that lists the angle min & max. Ford has different brackets and shims to adujst. I'm not a mechanic but I had a similar problem. Took Ford several tries to get it fixed.

one other thing you might try to find tire dealer with road force machine it tells if the tire is bad or good, if the tire cant be balanced it tells. cant remember what the magic number is but it a great machine it allso tells if there is bad rim, that will let you know if it truck or tires. take copy of printout to the ford store with you. believe it or not I had a 2000 chevy with bad vibs went through 6 sets of tires before found good tires. also goodyear doesnt believe in roadforce machine but they let the car dealers use it to warranty there tires.
