Which chip for towing?
I've got a 2001 F-150 Supercrew,5.4.Am gonna be towing a heavy camper and was was needing to know which chip and program would best serve my purpose.Would also like something for just basic city driving and seldom interstate driving.Will be running 87-89 octaneThanks for your input!

Superchips Max Micro Tuner will now support 87 Octaine gas. The tuning is easily installed and removed simply by doing the programing thru the diagnostic port. Check with Ken at Motorhaven for the latest availabillity.

87 octane does virtually nothing for the power. It mainly changes transmission characteristics and a little WOT tuning. If you want more power you're going to need to use the premium fuel tune.
