Torque converter???
Question....what is it that causes the torque converter clutch to lock/unlock? Is it electronic? And if so, is there a way to disconnect it to prevent lockup to troubleshoot a problem? OK, so maybe I had more than one question....Thanks for any help.

It is controlled by the PCM. Just push the button on the end of your shifter. The OD off light will come on and it will be locked out until either you hit the button again or turn the truck off. It always defaults back to OD on when turning off the truck.
