Got a 92 F150 w/ 5.0l stick w/ a/c... heater output has been less than desirable.
Here's what's been done:
Rad replaced- leaking, went with 2 row from orig single.
Core replaced 3 yrs ago same time as new motor & wp
T-stat- replaced & tested bef install
Getting nothing more than a trickle of coolant flow to the core. Core is not plugged. CHecked oper of vacuum doors in plenum- OK. Truck is not running any cooler than it ever has.
Air bubble restriction? I had this same problem- at the last cooling system flush I was very careful to refill and the problem has not recurred. Try driving up and down a very steep hill to help dislodge it.
