Yes these guys are right,we all must be out of our respective trees.I work out of the union hall and the jobs i go to can be a mile from home or 75 miles from home.The truth of the matter is though,i really dont give a &%@$ because i just enjoy riding in my super duty man.I love to watch everyone run the rat race from my perch above.Can i get a HELL YEA?

I commute LESS miles in mine. I wanted aa F-250 Super Duty. And I got the V-10. I LOVE it! I don't care if it is practical or not! This is MY dream truck!

 

i commute 42 miles one way in a 2001 PSD. averade about 16.5 mpg. love it. if you are gonna commute a lot of miles i think the extra money for the diesel is well worth it.

well I got everyone beat for the shortest commute,I think. I put under 7500miles a year on my F250. reason being I take the company car home with me '98 bluebird bus. so I start work right from the house.
I only use the F250 on weekends and plowing snow.

 

We all work so hard... Enjoy your truck... If we were all really concerned with gas milage then we wouldn't be here!!!

3. I'm impracticle.

All above reasons are why I drive a V10

I feel it really gives justification to our cause as Super Duty(and yes, even Excursion)FREAKS!

I would like to add that no matter how long the commute, I can't stand to drive a car!! It feels like my Rear is draggin through the floor. I have to be up above the road, not feel like I'm a piece of the road.

The ONLY "car" I truly enjoyed driving was the Porsche 911 I used to have. Now THAT was driving pleasure!

I have an '01 250 SD...extended cab..v10...I commute to college everyday which is about 70 miles....I drive about 800 miles in a week with everything i do...What better to commute in then a truck that just says get the _ _ _ _ out of my way.....

This guy must have a) A feather for a foot, b)everywhere he goes is down hill, or c)both. Seriously though, that is really good mpg and I'm jealous!
