ok, here's the deal, my brother is fixin to buy a '02 F250 4x4, he's wantin to get the diesel. he wants to put either 33" or 35" tires under it but didn't know how much lift he would need to do so. here's the problem, here in IL. i believe his front bumper height would be limited to 27" and the rear bumper limited to 29", damn lift laws....
so i guess the question is how much lift for the different tire sizes without the tires looking like they are stuffed under the fenders and approximately what bumper heights would the different setups have?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Mar-02 AT 08:41 AM (EST)]My 01 sd gasser, with a leveling kit, 33's no problem ,4 inch lift will let you get 35"s on there.
I had the x springs (snowplow) on mine and 35's fit but rubbed when making a turn, worse if you were turning and hit any kind of bump.
The 2" lifts are leveling kits, some people run them with 35's, I wouldn't
