ok, a sorry to the admin/mods if i put this in the wrong forum. I figured it would get the most attention here.
But i'm running some wires under my carpet, thus i need to remove the trim, there are a couple of pieces that i need to take off, and they have those little caps on them, from the ouside the head looks like the top of a carrige bolt, and where the thread would normally be on a regular bolt it has plastic "flanges" on it that are angeled twards the head so it stays in. Kind of like a porcupine needle, or like the barb on a fishhook, I allready broke teh head off of one and pushed it through. I was wondering how to get these darn things off without breaking them and buying all new ones? I can take a pic of what they look like if my description isnt good enough
go ahead and brake them they are ment to only be used once. And you can get a handfull of new ones for only a couple of bucks at any Napa, Carquest or similar auto parts store.
