I'm hoping to buy my first ford truck tomorrow morning. I've been "test driving" one from the dealer all weekend and love this thing. I don't think I can go back to my '93 nissan again. LOL!
I'm impatient and anxious to call my insurance tomorrow to get a quote. It's really the only thing that could kill the deal. I'm sure rates vary wildly depending on age / area but just curious what rates people are paying.
I'm looking at an F150 SuperCab 4x2 w/4.6. I'm over 30 and have an excellent driving record.
You should not have anything to worry about. You have to expect an increase due to a new better, bigger vehicle. Also, if you finance you need full coverage. Dont mean to insult your intelligence. If you are not happy with the quote you get from your insurance you can also shop around. My advice would be to shop for an insurance rate you like, then purchase your vehicle. To give you an idea, my rate went up $10/mo from an 02 Escape XLT. Now keep in mind, I live in NE. If it were say NY or CA then it would be higher of course. HH
Pay $540 a year on the two trucks below, 10/100/50 liability, uninsured driver, and with collision/comprehensive too on the F350.
