If you are trying to figure out which your truck came with, post your vin and rating plate info, we'd be glad to de-code it all for you.
Early '57 rating plates are on the door post.
Later '57 rating plates are inside the glove box door.

Well, I'm actually about 4 hours from my truck right now, at school, but I'm going to venture a guess that it does have the 4.11's in it, hence not really needing a 1st gear and topping out at about 60 mph @2500rpms And thanks for the warm welcome!
