oil journals??????????
Hey I had to replace my valve cover gaskets and found out that my rear journals are plugged up.....I think it is from all the silicone that the other guy put on the old gaskets......
Is there a easy way to clean them out..................???????????

Can you tell for sure if its silicone or oil sludge?
Shop Vac? Maybe you can get ahold of it by lightly trying to grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers. If it pretty much falls apart its sludge.
