>Anyone know how to take off the ext. cab door panels?? I
>figure you've gotta take off the window latch...but after
>that, I'm stumped!
Hang on Munkey!
I have to wake up! where is my coffee!
oh I'll be right back
I took them off to do rustproofing in there!
yes the window latch comes off
there is a little shim under the latch ,don't lose it ,there was on mine anyway.
Okay I had my coffee
After removing latch ,the upper half(interior) has these spring clips that pop into slots in the door, very gently pull towards you until they pop out then lift up,oh watch out that the window doesn't fly open and hit something.
The lower half has these pop in springs also, but also has plastic buttons that break easy their kind off small they have a center section that pulls out to loosen them in their own hole.
Its not that hard ,if an old guy like me can do it,you young guys can
just don't be the bull in the china shop if ya know what I mean
Do you have a door panel removal tool?
they help alot when doing this,it alows you to peek under to see
where the spring clips are.The screw driver can damage the door or the plastic interior.
I take no responsibility for broken Parts!!!!!
Just go slow, look before pulling to hard
