computer reset after exaust mod

As some of you have probably already read,I had my y pipe modified for less restrition and put on a flowmaster muffler instead of stock.
I was wondering if the computer needs to be reset or adjusted due to the mods,or if it will automaticly adjust it self.:-X11

computer reset after exaust mod

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Apr-02 AT 07:34 PM (EST)]ummm..... it will automatically adjust itself over time... or you can disco the battery for ten mins with the lights on and will get a faster learn of the mod.....

i don't think you'll get much out of the muffler, but that y-pipe may be a diff story....

computer reset after exaust mod

When I had my JBA headers installed the shop had to reset my computer because the check engine light wouldn't go out. They used diagnotic tester to reset it, and it's been fine ever since
