My dad ordered the manuals from Ford. They were about $200, but are very detailed shop manuals.
I ordered the manual on CD from E-bay. I didn't realize they were pirated though. I may send it back.

I ordered the CD from a guy on ebay and I dont think its pirated...
If it is he went through great lengths.. cuz the one I got is silk screened with the Ford logo and has copyright info on it, and had a few greasy finger prints on it.
I have used it a few times and am SO totally glad I got it. A LOT of the stuff in Chiltons and Haynes is just out-and-out wrong. The CD is right and even gives you ford parts numbers for special tools you will need and pictures of what the tools look like. I ended up fab'n a tool from a pic on the CD cuz it was sunday and I had already rented an engine hoist.
