Rancho RS9000 Remote Install Question
1. The instructions call for "Lithium Grease" to lube the o-rings. I have some Solder Seal Gunk brand spray lithium grease. Is this the right stuff?
2. Any suggestions on how to provide sufficient slack in the pressure lines to the shocks?
Any additonal suggestions on the installation are appreciated. Thanks.

I wish I could be of more help, but mine were installed by a dealer. It is my belief that your lithium grease should be fine if thats what it calls for, but I always thought that petroleum grease would eventually break down rubber products. In irrigation work we use a lube to "grease" "ring-tight" gaskets that is not petroleum based so it won't rot the rubber gaskets. "Crisco" even works in a pinch
As far as the "slack" issue goes, mine are "zip tied" down the shock with the shock at full extension. Since I can't see what happens when I'm driving:+ I assume the lines "gap" slightly when compressed.
This is probably of little help, but I didn't want your post to go unanswered
Trying to decide on shocks to replace my factory set (yes on a 95!)
I am leaning towards RS9000x, but rarely carry a load and they are a bit pricey....
