1 Black Beast update...
While under the dash, and not expecting to be again for some time anyway...I installed some suttle blue lighting under the dash, lenses hidden from view. This creates as I said a suttle, but warm and neat look. I got the idea because I quickly noticed Ford doesn't put a courtesy light anywhere under the dash, only the overhead and doors. I put a shiny, blue metal toggle cover/toggle for the lights, on the dash adjacent to the steering wheel.
The last pic is somehwat related as if it were warmer I wouldn't be tinkering so much with the truck, I'd be logging some miles on the 98 BMW R1200C. By the way, for those wondering...it's in the spare rec. room cuz the past couple months I've had it here, going through everything! Drained, flushed all fluids, oil, transmission, gears, brakes (bled of course too), clutch. Replaced fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs. Drained gas tank and then detailed the heck out of it, including the use of Q-Tips! I know. I'm sick, but at least my wife put's up with me.
Amazing how much work you can get done this time of year in Michigan...if you have a heated garage! Come on SPRING!!!
