max speed cutout

Need info, 99 F-150, 4.6l, got a ticket for 102mph, yet vehicle cuts out at aprox 92.

max speed cut out

the truck is completly stock, including tire size. i was hoping to find something possibly in a service manual that would back up my contention that the motor cuts out at a certain speed. i am fighting the ticket as i had cruse set at 85.

Find a certified speedometer calibration shop. Their findings will stand up in court.

Sounds like what your really gonna need is a good lawyer!

Good luck, they all seem to be different. I was thinking 105 was the cut off point. It is changable with a Microtuner though.
