Oil, oil filters, air filters and fuel filters. And how often on each.
Thanks Stampede

For me, oil & grease every 5k miles. The cost is $50. Fuel filters cost me $100 and are replaced every 15k miles. AT filter/fluid is around $200 bucks and is replaced every 30k miles. Coolant and air filter are also 30k miles and are around $130 together.
So, the cost every 5k miles is
$50 + $100/3 + $330/6 or $165 every 5k miles.
That is around $3300 in 100k miles.
Maintenance on a gasser is cheaper. Don't let anybody tell you different.

Mobil 1 Oil Change, 'bout $46 to $50 every 3,000 depending on where I can find enough oil.
Fuel filter, $12 @ NAPA, every 20,000.
Mobil 1 Tranny fluid cost me $130 (every 30,000), but I've got about 5 quarts sitting un-used in my garage. Tranny filter was $18 at the dealership.
Haven't changed coolant yet, but it's coming up in another 10k miles (changing it every 50k miles). Figure it'll cost anywhere from $50 to $100...
So you're looking at $2325 over 100,000 miles. BTW, I highballed all my numbers.
So, $11625.50 every 50k, $69.75 every 3k, or 0.02325¢ per mile!!

Damn Munkey, I hope there is an extra "1" in your $11625 figure!

It's the motor oil I use, it's all natural lubricant, made from yakberries, squeezed from under the armpits of Tibetian monks, every time Jupiter and Pluto are in alignment with Io.
And if you think it costs a pretty penny to get this kind of motor oil, just think how hard it is to obtain enough yakberries (guess where the berries are found on the yak
) for 6 1/2 quarts of it!
Good eye for the extra 1 though!
