Question

Grease Question

I'm finally putting my engine ('85 2.8L V6) back together and i'm wondering which lubricant would be better to use. I dont want to buy any new stuff so I have two to choose from. there is
A) White, Lithium based grease
or
B) Black, Oil based, Bearing grease.
that you for any help

The white lithium would work better of the two. Its closer to engine assembly lube. Although it may be the same.

Just buy engine assembly lube you can get it at oriellys.

I agree, with a newly rebuilt motor it would be unwise not to spend a couple of dollars on a tube of assembly lube.
