79 headlight Replacement recommendations?

79 head light recomendations?

Last night the local officer of the law informed me that I was one light short of a full pair, so it is time for a new set. I want some that are brighter than stock. I know there are several out there that are hyped up to be better. Let me know what you run in yours.

Im going to run the new Hot ones in my existing Crystal Housings, I think they are called Silver Stars?? They are pricey (Like 40 Bucks) for just the bulbs. Then Im going to Run them off of Relays so they have Full Battery Power.

Bosch makes the perfect set .

Get the 80/100 bulbs and do the relay conversion.

They have a pattern like this: ____/ ____/

Check thru the threads here on headlights and you may find some interesting reading. Do the relay conversion also.

I like the Sylvania Xtra Vision bulbs. They are made to put more light on the road and they work. Only about $15 each.

i have the hella dot approved h-4 conversions with the relay mod. i absolutely love them, one of the best things i have done for my truck. all done it was about 75$$$$$
