to make sure I have included anything. Any tips or suggestions are welcome also. Just click on my website below. I am getting a little better with webpages at least.
I don't know crap about engines (yet). However I am learning all that I can before I get into my 352 sitting in my yard.
Not being a jerk but I must disagree with the black text on blue background. A real pita to read Granted the large font helps....but I still have to cross my eyes a little read it
Take a look at this page and see if you like the colors.

i agree on the black letters on blue background is a little hard to read but solverish letters on blue background now thats the way to go, keep up the good work, oh and i was wondering are you going to post your FE engine FAQ page as a sticky in the FE forumn?
so Rat......untill I can put a rear sump Oil Pan you think i should run 6.5qt's I gota wait to put those parts till I am ready to rebuild where I plan to barly go stock..lol...any way on a mostly stock 390 think i should go with that.....(6.5qts)..
Do you have a HV oil pump? Then yes. Running 6.5 qts wouldn't hurt anyways. Are you doing a lot of off roading? Hill climbing can kill a front sump FE.
well not in my 69'(2x4) and my 4x4(70) came stock with rear sump its stock oil pump......I know what you meen after helping rebuild a 468 chevy drag motor cause Lack of intrest on the oil pan..after i reliezed what they did i said thats it I am helping rebuild it and time to focus on the bottom end alittle more....
I have an FMS front sump which is pretty much a stock pan but I think it is baffled better. I don't remember the old pan having baffles. I have had friends watch my oil pressure on hard launches and it didn't loose any. I need to check this with slicks. My front end comes up quite a bit with slicks and 3.70 gears. When I get my 4.56 gears I will probably run into problems as the front end should come up quite a bit.
yes...When these trucks grip they can pop up abit...(I know from wheeling in my 4x4)I 4.56's will for sure help......so with stock set up run 6.5qts and it should be fine.....
great thing about local track is its realy sticky..lol..I dont know if I am gona run the truck out there stock although it woudent do to bad from playing with it on the streets....I got my paw who is mostly a cheby guy realy enjoying the power and torqre of this truck not to mention the rumble of the motor.....
