door latch
Hey all my back drivers side door is rattling when i go over bumps, it sounds as if its going to open, I think that its the door latch??? I believe thats the correct word for it(the part in the door). I had it at Ford and they didn't have enough time to get to that problem so I was wondering if it is hard to replace on my own??? If it isn't where could i get the latch from???

First check the screws on the latch itself to make sure they're tight. Then check the door lock striker (what the latch locks onto) to make sure it's tight - mark it's position incase you need to adjust it. The only other thing I can think of checking is that you have the rubber bumper pads at the top and bottom of the door.
