hey superduty fans i have a 2001 f-350 with 7.3 diesel sometimes on initial startup in morning the motor surges up and down until you hit the accelerator and then it stops any ideas, solutions, the dealer told me to use motorcraft oil instead of rotella t , ive tried and there was no difference

You might want to post this in the 7.3 stroke area
or the moderator will move for you .
Sounds like you have the rolling idle problem !
Its been discussed in the other forum.
