A few years ago, my running buddy had a F-250, PSD, crewcab that he made Ford eat. It required an attorney and he had to pay for the mileage on the truck at the rate of .35 per mile. Can't say if that fits your situation as the laws change from state to state. This was in Texas. Timeline was about 2 months.
my grandpa worked for for and one year her bought a new 1996 twn car and ran it through the lemon law. heres how it goes in ohio: the car has to be taken to the dealer for a problem 3 times and you have to ahve documents to prove that it was took those three times. you have to get a lemon law packet and fill out the paper work and submit it to the board with the other documents needed. we did not have to have a lawyer for it and did not have to pay we did not have to pay any milage. the board sent us a letter telleing us where and where to meet with them to present our case and if the vehicle is driveable drive it to the meeting incase they want to look at it. although they didnt do that. so we went to the meeting and presented our cause then some time after we got a letter telling us that they awarded us a new car or they would pay off the one we got but we could not take it in to be fixed anymore under warrrenty. so we got a new 1997 town car.
