A different question about drums...

I'm wondering about rear drum to disk conversions. Would it require a huge undertaking to switch my rears to disk brakes? Is there any reason I should not do this?

I see no reason not to do it, I would much rather have discs back there than drums. Stainless Steel brakes makes a rear disc brake conversion, but it's a little pricey. You can find it at http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/...nger&year=1998 (you might need to cut and past)
I would assume that you retain the ABS, anyone know?

The rear ABS is controlled by the VSS in the diff I believe.

You will want to check to see if you will need a different proportioning valve. I've seen proportioning valves that can be manually adjusted; my hunch is that you'll be needing one of these.
