2000 Excursion OEM Brake Controller Harness

Okay, here is my dilemma. I am installing a brake controller (Tenoksha Prodigy) on my X . But, it looks like where my oem wiring harness for the tow package should be are 5 cut wires. I am looking just to the right of the gas pedal up under the dashboard. Just five wire colored red, black, white, blue and white with blue stripe. Are these the wires that used to be hooked to the oem plug? If so, where can I get a replacement plug to wire back in? If not, where exactly is the oem plug? Thanks in advance. These forums have been an invaluable source of information.

Those are not the wires... they are there so you don't have to drill a hole in the firewall to wire any "accessories". You should see a similar set on the firewall in the engine compartment.

To find the brake controller harness, remove the fuse panel cover and look to the right of the metal brace near the heater controls. Sometimes the harness is a real bugger to find as it is stuffed way back in there.

Hey, I found it. Thanks. It is snugged up in there pretty good. But I think I can plug the controller in. Thanks for your help.
