Reflash cost?
Hello all 
I just got the lift, tires, wheels on my truck. 
How much is it goin to cost me to get the reflash done to correct the speedo? How long will it take for them to do it? Thanks 
2002 F-350 SC LB 4X4 6SPD DSL. 2.5" leviling kit. Rhino lined Bed. Prodigy trailer brake controler. 35x12.5x16.5 BFG A/T. 16.5x10 ultra wheels.

Reflash cost?
I just had mine done on Saturday. It was $225 CAN and it took them about 3 hours. Fortunately, I made them agree to do it before I bought the truck, so they had to foot the bill. That's a good thing because we were both under the impression that it was going to be about $40 to get it done.
Apparently for 2002, Ford has really tightened up the tolerances for adjustability. The service tech told me that too many people were adjusting the computer to max tire size and running stock tires to get lower mileage showing, and therefore extending warranty etc...
I guess it's no longer as simple a quick computer change. They had to contact Ford service and have Ford walk them through the new and complicated procedure.
The best they could do for me with 285/75's was to get it to within .1 to .2 kms out over 6kms (~2-3% error), down from about 5% error. Any larger tire and the error will really go up.
