My X is a 98 with 150k, I take meticulious care of it, but i let the plugs slide to for 50k before i just changed them. I used the Bosch Double Platinum.
My small reminder to change them was a rough cold start--so i did the plugs, and the wires just for S**ts and Giggles. But its still taking longer to turn over and sounds a bit rough. In other words, its like i never changed the plugs. However, there is a it more low end pick up.
Any suggestions as to what might improve the starts besides moving out of New England?
Btw- I have changed, air filter, IAC 25K ago, cleaned MAF, etc
