fuel leak
I haven't been able to pin point where it comes from but every now and then there is some fuel leaking from somewhere on top of the starter. It is only sometimes in the morning when I let it idle for a while. Is there a fuel line up there somewhere. I can't see leak on the top of the engine.

You will have to watch your return lines. There is a return line that goes over the back of the engine but I think it is on the wrong side for appearing on the starter. With the engine at idle you could rub your fingers along the bottom of the plastic caps on the return lines. If you noticed this problem right after changing the filter, perhaps the filter is the problem. Try to tighten it a little more if so. the fan could be carrying the fuel from the front of the engine and down the block. It is gonna be one of those things "For YOUR eyes only".
