Rims

I'm looking to upgrade my rims on my 99 Ranger 4x2 XLT. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good web site with good prices. Tire rack.com only shows 2 rims for my truck.

I was thinking of going with 17in rims. How can I find what size rim and tire combo will fit my truck and yet not mess up the speedo. I'm installing a DJM 2/3 drop. What are your thought about going with 17 in rims. Should I stick with 17 or large etc... What are your thought.

As always thanks for all the help.

I recently went to 15in rims on my 94 XL Sport. I went straight to the 'source' for my rims, the local tire store.

As far as 'fitting' you may need to work with a tire store and test several diffeent configurations

So long as you do not change the circumfrence (distance around) of the tire your speedo should be good, I needed to change my spee o meter cable gear to correct form my tire change.

As for going to 17in rims, It's your FORD do with it as you wish, keep in mind your turning radius and weather or not you plan to haul anything in the future.

It's a FORD! It's made to be;
USED/ENJOYED.
