various blinking lights in dash

hello everyone. i am the proud owner of a '94 F-150 with the indestructable I6 300. the truck runs great although recently (about 3 months ago) my check engine light started coming on and my air bag warning (?) light constantly blinks on and off. I've got good oil pressure, new alt., plugs, cap/rotor, and so on. Ive tried running a scanner on it but its been a while and i dont remember exactly what i found. (it had nothing to do with the air bag, though). I have also disconnected my battery for about 15 minutes, but the lights came right back. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?

It should give you a code if you check engine light is on determining what it is. EGR valve is a common possibility, but check the codes again.

If the air bag light blinks it is a code. Count the flashes, it will flash 1 a number code then pause and give a number. the 2 digit code can be looked up on the net!

Does the horn and the cruse work? If not it will be the clock spring!

thanks guys! Im not able to run the scanner on the truck now but where can i look up that 2 digit code at? I think its 2 - 3 or 3-2 ill have to check. i appreciate the help!
