camper height
I just bought a 2001 F-250 super duty truck and was wondering if I'm going to need to add some lift to my camper to make it clear the cab it's a 76 8.5ft camper.
Anyone run into this, is the cab and box height much higher now?

I have heard alot of guys with SuperDuty's and older campers saying they had to build a subframe to set the camper on in the bed to clear the cab. Other guys say they can get away with using a thick piece of plywood or a thick bed mat. The cabs are higher but I don't know if the box is deeper at the bedrails or not. It depends on your camper if it will clear it. Grab a tape measure and find out... (remember to allow some extra gap for cab/bed/frame/camper twist when on rough roads).
